What
is Life
Change Coaching? |
| Life
change coaching is a one to one relationship where I help bring you right
into the present so you can take a very clear look at your life. Through
coaching you can learn to devise ways in which you want to move forward
and how to achieve the life you may only have dreamt about. You learn to
go beyond previously perceived limitations and step up to solving problems
while constructing and recognising opportunities. I find the key to effective
life coaching is honesty and saying what needs to be heard in order to help
the client to take giant leaps forward in rethinking, refocusing, reorganising
and reinventing their lives.
You
are your greatest asset How long will it take? The first
session is always two hours and you are required to fill in and fax forms
to us before the commencement of each session. Forty-five minutes of each
hour is talk time and I allow 15 minutes per hour for research and note
writing on my part. The following sessions occur for one hour once a week
at pre-arranged times. The model I use is that the client commits themselves
to 12 sessions over 12 weeks, which is reviewable at the end of the 12
week period. Imagine
being able to create your own dream What would I have to do? The whole point of the life change coaching is that it is life changing in all areas of your life because each area of your life affects the others. People come to me because they are stuck in a rut, frustrated with their life or confused as to whether they will ever meet their goals. By getting each area of your life running smoothly, it has a domino effect on the whole of your life. I ask people to do lots of things in between their coaching sessions only change creates change. You
have the power and can use it Will I be suitable for coaching? Coaching is for anyone who wants to look at their life and make changes in lifestyle, work, business, relationships or any area of their lives. It is for people who feel that they are all right as a person but unable to make progress in achieving the lifestyle they want. Coaching is not counselling, psychotherapy or therapy of any kind and if we discover that there are areas you may need to work on with a therapist I would refer you to also work on those areas with a therapist who lives near you. I grew up in boarding schools where I learnt to be incredibly disciplined and later in life I learnt that it is not how hard you work but how smart. We have all needed help in life to bring out our full potential and I know you can remember times when, if you had had a buddy to reflect back to you what you were doing, you could often have been much more effective. I promise to help you think differently...more differently and more differently again My job is
supporting you and being your champion while helping you to become your
own champion. More than that I also help you to take the shorter route
to anywhere. |
