The National School
of Hypnosis & Advanced Psychotherapy (NSHAP)
The
National School of Hypnosis and Advanced Psychotherapy (NSHAP) was started
in the mid 70s as a training school for hypnotherapists and psychotherapists
by Ray Keedy-Lilley, one of England's most well respected hypnotherapists
of the 20th century, who practised for over 50 years. At the time Tracie
attended NSHAP it was based in London and offered a four-year postgraduate
Advanced Diploma in Hypnosis & Psychotherapy. It was at that time
a recognised training school by the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapists
(UKCP), British Institute of Complementary Medicine (BICM) and the British
Association of Counseling (BAC) - now the British Association of Counselling
and Psychotherapy (BACP). It is now based in Cambridge.
