Hypnotherapy
John: “It’s funny. I feel as if I never smoked. If only I’d known it was so easy, I would have come sooner.”
Lucy: “Now, I love to eat and wonder who that anorexic girl in there was fooling. Certainly not me. I know she deserves all the love I can give her.”
Luigi: “Everybody wanted me to pass my exams and I was worried I would fail. Tracie helped me realise I am already a success.”
Maggie: “I was depressed for years and nothing made a difference. Well now I know how to handle my life and keep the happiness and peace I’ve found.”
Catherine: “Stress is easy to avoid now that I know what I’m doing. At least I think I know what I’m doing. Oh! Who cares?”
Counselling
Matthew: “It was really useful to come along to counselling after my affair. My wife and I were living separately and she had all but given up on me. We are back together now but I have really had to change some things about myself. Eventually both of us were doing couples sessions and that really helped.”
Dorothy: “I just wanted to talk to someone privately. The bullying at work had got too much and I was really depressed. I had been there 20 years and it was only two years until I retired so I did not want to swap jobs. I learnt during counselling how to protect myself in that environment and enjoy the last two years of my working life. It was really useful.”‘
Robbie: “My parents drive me nuts. I’m only 17 and they seem to have the rest of my life planned out for me. No wonder I was stressed and ended up in counselling. I’ve decided to take a year off after my exams. I liked counselling because it was me that got to make my decisions. I’m going to the South of France to pick grapes and wash pots in restaurants for a year as I travel around. I might even get a job on a boat.”
